The 13 PRO’s display is actually brighter much brighter than the 8 plus. So if when you’re outdoors you’ll really notice that.

Also, you just have slimmer bezels on the 13 Pro. One advantage that the 8 Plus has is that it has no type of notch, It has chunky bezels, but there’s no notch. You might appreciate that the 8 Plus is not going to cut into content like on the 13 Pro. But honestly, I think the display upgrade that you’re getting with the 13 Pro with the 120 hertz is going to be excellent. When you’re just scrolling and swiping. You will be able to notice that difference and you really notice it on Instagram and stuff like that. You really will notice that 120 hertz does look buttery smooth when you put them side by side. It’ll be really hard for you to go back to a 60-hertz panel.

The iPhone 8 can currently run up to iOS 16, whereas the iPhone 13 Pro runs the latest iOS 17 and will likely be eligible for several more versions in the future. So, here we have the 5-nanometer A15 Bionic processor With 128Gigs, while on the iPhone 8 Plus we have the 10-nanometer A11 Bionic With 64Gigs. Therefore, the iPhone13’s processor is much more energy efficient. You are getting more storage on the base model and then six gigs of ram. You will notice a bump in speed. The 13 pro opens things really quickly but the eight plus is not, it’s extremely slow or anything like that. But you will notice that speed difference along with 120Hz everything is going to feel much snappier.

You’ll notice the big difference with gaming. Games like PUBG and stuff like that are playable at max graphics on the 13 Pro. If you’re a gamer this is going to be a really big deal for you. Because you’re just going to get better graphics and better frame rates on pretty much everything. You can see the time difference when you open like a heavier game it really starts to kick in there.

Touch id works flawlessly on both devices I have no problems with it. Sometimes I even prefer over face id and it really comes down to the person. You have a face ID on Both devices which with the mask and stuff sometimes you don’t want to use the face ID. Because you have to take the mask down. So it’s nice to have a touch id. I really think that apple should go back and just put touch id in the power button. So you can just have two options instead of one option I think that would be really good. Both of these phones do have wireless charging as well.

And here on the screens, you are seeing the score of these smartphones on Geekbench, which is that performance comparison. And you can see that the iPhone 8 Plus has basically the same performance as a current advanced mid-range smartphone, like the Galaxy A72. It reaches more or less the same score.

Graphics Cards

The iPhone 8 Plus delivers 2 hours of games running at 60fps. The iPhone 13 delivers 7 hours of games running at 60fps. This information should be taken into account when choosing the iPhone 8 Plus, which is a much cheaper smartphone that costs 1/3 the price of the iPhone 13 Pro.

Cameras | Highly Anticipated

I think this is a really good reason to upgrade. The 8 plus does take some pretty good photos and good lighting. I have no issues with the image quality for this price point. I think it does still a pretty good job. One thing that I noticed iPhone 8 Plus gets a little soft when you take it out of lighting conditions. But I’m telling you guys the eight plus still takes pretty decent photos compared to the 13 pro which has a triple camera setup.

iPhone 13 Pro got a 12-megapixel standard, 12-megapixel telephoto, and 12-megapixel ultrawide Camera Setup. iPhone 13 Pro also has a macro mode as well, which is really cool for close-up shots. You can shoot in 4k on the front and back. You also have 60FPS, 30FPS, and then 24FPS on the back camera of the 13 Pro. The 13 Pro is going to take some really good photos. It really shines in low light, You get an ultra-wide, Macro camera, Cinematic video, or you can think of it as portrait mode video. You’re getting a pretty significant upgrade as far as cameras. If you’re thinking about upgrading and you want to know if the cameras are worth it? I do think they’re definitely worth it.

Battery Life

The 13 Pro has a 3095 milliamp battery with 20-watt charging. You also have mac safe, wireless charging. iPhone 13 pro actually has a very good battery life. I don’t do a ton of gaming just videos and social media from time to time. but this phone really lasts all day. I have no issues.

iPhone 8 plus: Again me being a light user I don’t have battery issues with this phone. With this phone still, I’m able to get through a day with no problem with this phone either. I’m sure you’re going to get better battery life on the 13 Pro. But like I said iPhone 8 plus still does a really good job with the battery. It does have a 2691 milliamp battery, Slightly smaller battery life. It varies on your battery health as well. You also have wireless charging on here too.
